Graduation and Birthday Part-ay

Well, what's been going on in our lives? We just celebrated Jeff graduating with his Master's & Kamden's first birthday. I know, I can't believe Kam is 1 year old. This last year has really been the best. Our lives are definitely different than they were a year ago but it has been the most wonderful experience for us. For the birthday party, our families all got together in Springville and had a BBQ. Kam loved seeing family and of course his fun new gifts but I think his favorite was the cake! We love Kam so much and are so happy we have him in our life.
I am SOOO proud of Jeff! He started his Master's program the month before we were married. He submitted his last assignment on March 14th. I could see his shoulders lift a little and the stress fly away. It was gone for a little while but then reality crept back. The two words that Jeff can't ignore...JOB SEARCH. He had an interview today and learned that he was way over-qualified. He turned it down but was glad to be able to brush up on his interviewee skills. He's been sending resumes all over and thinks he may be figuring out the direction he wants to take. Whatever he decided to do, Kam & I will be right there with him.
As for me, I love being mommy. Kam is into everything. He hides all of his small toys behind the T.V. and screams when he can't reach them to take them out. When I told my mom he did that, she said, "Don't puppies do that?" Yes they may, but so does Kam. Funny kid. He LOVES the bathroom and everything about it. Reaching into the toilet, yuck, I know. Playing with the toilet brush, big yuck, I know. His most fav, the bathtub! He loves putting all of his toys (mostly balls) into "the big white toy chest". He's so entertaining. Life is so grand for us. Heavenly Father has blessed us so much and we have so much to be grateful for.
