Record Breaking February

If you've been watching the news at all, you know that the east is being pounded with snow. DC has had record breaking snow and Columbus is following right along. Today, the paper said that if Columbus receives 4.5 more inches of snow in the month of February, (which pretty much happened today) then we will break the record that was previously set in 1910!
Schools, churches, business, roads, and pretty much everything that doesn't fall into those categories have been closed down.
We've made good use of our time.
Kamden and Jeff were having so much fun. When I was in the house I could hear Kam screaming and laughing. It was so funny.
FYI-Milk jug caps work great for snowman eyes...
Grapes for the mouth...not so much.
I'm standing inside the house taking this picture through the kitchen window.
It's almost like having a guest/stalker for dinner.Nothing like a cup of cocoa filled to the brim with marshmallows. So it's been a couple of days. I took this just this morning. Our "Mr. Noman" is a little down and out but he's not going to give up. He's a real trooper and even though the scarf is his only visible accessory, he wears it proudly.
I think it's hilarious. I've never seen a snowman hold on quite like this one. This is what I did while the boys were outside playing.
Crayon Roll-Up

Kamden loves Super-Why and I thought it would be fun for him to have a cape. I'm making on for Mac but I figure I've got some time for that one.
This picture says it all.

Just some pictures...

...of my boys
I just have not really been in a blogging mood lately and so you know what that means?
So many cute pictures of my boys that you aren't getting to see!
So, here are pictures since...I'm thinking Christmas.
McKay
He's my happy boy
Jeff was feeding him and he sneezed!
Was it mean to get he camera instead of cleaning him up?
Well, either way, we captured the moment, right?
Bed head of a very grumpy boy that didn't want to wake up yet.

FINGER PUPPETS!

McKay and that thumb of his.

I was doing The Biggest Loser workout (see t.v.) and Kam was doing it with me.
He was using his animals for weights.
Line em up! Move em out!

This was the last night that McKay would let me wrap him up like this.
He is all over the place now when he sleep.

Jeff's FAVORITE place to eat in Columbus.
We went with some friends for his birthday.

We got some smoked salmon from IKEA for his birthday.
Jeff said that he loved it when they ate it in Iceland.
I took about 3 bites, that was all I could do.
Jeff loved it but I just couldn't do it.
Once again, our paper-eating-billy-goat-baby.

Happy Birthday Jeff

I spelled out "OLD" in with the candles.

Happy Birthday Jeff, I love you.

The Honking Of The Geese

The other day I heard the geese honking so loud. I went to the window to see if one was trying to get inside, out of the cold or something, looked up in the sky and this is what I saw.

That is only a section of the sky. I wish I could have captured the entire thing.

I don't know what it is about this little area but we are surrounded by these things!

At least once a day we can tell the geese are moving because the honking is so loud.
Kam will run to the window while shouting, "GEESE! GEESE!"
He loves them. Especially the 6 white ones that don't fly.

and Brooks didn't believe me...
